Shrewsbury Lanes and a Summer Loop

Sorted the phone, and now we are finally on the move. There is a green car up ahead, so I’ll just slip past when the coast is clear. Open fields and no traffic, just me and the good old GPS. Look at that family strolling by the fence, they are enjoying the day too. Nice quiet village street with those traditional brick buildings. Stopped at a junction here, surrounded by historic timber-framed houses. Weaving through the city traffic, past the white hatchback and the SUV. Now we are in the woods, and I can see another biker up ahead. Autumn colours on the trees and some houses on the left side. A nice stone wall and a bench on the left as the road curves.

Right, just checking the phone so I don't look like a total idiot in the garden. There's a green car up ahead, looks like it's having a very slow morning. Just cruising through the open fields, GPS is happily telling me where to go. Family on the sidewalk there, mind you, keep your wipers ready for those construction signs.

Sliding past that red car in the quiet village lane, just me and the brick walls. Paused here to admire the old timber-framed houses, with my phone mounted like a little scout. Now threading through the traffic, passing a white SUV while keeping my eyes on the road. …another day in the life of the Scripting Paddy. Mind how you go.

Right, we’re off through the woods here, keeping pace with the bike up ahead. Look at those autumn trees on the left, painting the residential lane. A nice stone wall and a bench on the left as we curve through the brick houses. There’s a lovely spread of wicker chairs and a sofa on that wooden deck.
